I can do these things for today, I know I can, because I did it yesterday and the day before and the week before. I am sharing this to hold myself accountable.
Achievement Goal – Clear half of dining room table, no moving piles around, put everything away; complete by end of evening.
Minute Goal – Take trash to curb by 7:10am – Bring cans back to their place when arriving home before going into the house.
Maintenance Goal – Maintenance cleaning of prior goals; wash dishes, put away stuff and wipe off counters; complete before going to bed.
Best Effort Goal – Take things out of shopping bags in the storage closet; do when getting distracted from other goals. No time limit; best effort
I will put stuff back that I take out as soon as I use it even if I have to get it out again.
I will not leave trash or dirty dishes and walk away.
If I notice something that needs to be put away or thrown away I will “stop, do it now, continue”.
I will allow myself to stop and take a break or walk away for a few minutes as much as I need to.
I will not use a timer or reach a stopping point, if I need to walk away I can, but I have to keep going back until my goal is finished
