I totally agree, hydro!! Working out & doing yoga has done wonders for me... Sure, I sometimes drop it when I'm in a really black/unmotivated phase, but the feeling is so good I never stop for long! I'm so glad you've found help from it. Keep it up! 
And I'm sorry to hear that physical exercise sets you off, landskaperdan. That really sucks!! But mild yoga & breathing exercises, without physical exertion, really do help with centering the mind... I find that when I'm on that "brink" between episodes, using a guided breathing meditation or light yoga really helps me smooth my landing. But it's different for everyone! I'm glad you've found something that works for you.
