Why not see if T is willing to meet you 1/2 way. I can see where a T doesn't want you drifting, but maybe if you divulge a little bit of info just to see if it helps. Dip your toe in the water maybe? I am assuming this isn't T's first rodeo and T has an idea of what they are doing?
