Please do share this with your T...the sleeplessness and ruminating. It could be you are still going too fast in therapy, and need to slow down some. (I know it might seem that you are going slowly, but when the result is upsetting your life so much, it might be too fast.)
Of course, with therapy there has to be some affect, or it isn't therapy imo. But you seem to be contending with so much right now, perhaps wait until you are feeling better physically, and back on a good sleep cycle before delving more into the past experiences?
