I look at it through a developmental perspective. You described Lola how children learn that they are worthy, through their parent's actions. One thing that I did was to examine what really happened to me with all of this. You have to go to the root to fix things IMO. Really understanding how you got to where you are is important I think and working through the bad stuff and the bad messages and airing those feelings from all of this. Then you have to redo the child development. Anything that gives you these messages to build your self worth. Taking care of yourself is a good one. Being around others who care for you is another (and making space between yourself and those who give you the "you are not worth anything" messages).
