I can relate to your feelings about dealing with legal issues in your life relating to your disability. When I left work, I ended up realizing that I should file a workman's comp case against them for what I was going through. It when on for years & years & years. Everytime a deposition or hearing came near, I would end up OD'ing & get landed in the hospital. That happened every time. There were several times when I would just get out of the hospital the morning of the hearing. I just couldn't handle the legal stuff & them making me feel like like I had no right to feel the way I did.

The lawyer I started out with ended up having a heart attack & I ended up with one that was horrible & I don't think he could have won anything. He just wanted me to settle & get the money they were willing to offer me for not appealing the case. I ended up agreeing because I couldn't stand to continually end up in the hospital again & again. I just wanted everything to stop......thus the OD's & at times it was the only place where I felt safe was in the hospital.

I hope that your legal issues will soon be over with you in the winning seat. You deserve to win after all you are going through. Maybe once the legal stuff is over, you will be able to feel a little more in control of your life & start feeling better.
