I haven't tried EMDR either, but I do know a couple of people who have tried it and had positive experiences.
Still being in the abusive relationship, yet trying to work through past experiences must be very tricky!

Are you seeking to find the strength to leave your hub, or are you simply hoping to come up with new ways to deal with situations that currently trigger you? Getting through relationship problems like these takes time and effort on both sides. Is your hub also working with a T, to help him come up with healthy ways of dealing with his triggers instead of taking out life's frustrations on you?
I hope that he is working on getting through this negative pattern that he's fallen into.
