Hi everyone

No change in my meds, and stress is pretty steady, but unrelated to this.

I have noticed, maybe in the last year, that I can get over emotional listening to a song/music video.

I'm sitting here at work listening to a song and watching the music video for a minute, and I start welling up. I understand that it's normal to have emotion when there is something attached to the song (a breakup, other mental reminder s) -- but this almost seems to be of happiness because I am not sad.

Great example - the song Save the World by Swedish House Mafia...
The music video is about dogs saving people when they are in trouble (check it out on youtube if you like dogs). It's dramatic, has some emotion, and the songs fits well with the video.

Never fails, I will start tearing up at the least, sometimes just hearing the song without the video. It's almost as if I have a reaction to something my mind thinks is beautiful. I'm not happy, or sad necessarily, but my tears just bust out. It's embarrassing sometimes.

My sister is also BP and she said she gets that way sometimes too.
Is this common? I can't quite put my finger on it, I am always trying to correlate.

Thanks
Nick
