It starts at the end of the month. I've gained a LOT of weight since starting meds, they have since reduced my meds (now on 10 mgs. from my high of 20 mgs., soon to be 7 1/2). I'm tired of being so large, and really need to get a handle on it. Before when I was crazy I was walking a lot, 3-5 miles a day and eating barely a thing. I'm a heavier set person, so even then I was a size 14, now a 20.

But I bought a book on healthy eating by a Princeton Professor, and I'm going to start this class, and I really hope I can learn how to get to a normal for me size and stay that way for years to come. It would be a dream to see my high school weight again, but I'm going to give myself a solid effort to get into somewhat reasonable shape.

The class only meets once a week, there is another class offered so I could technically go twice a week but I figured I should start with 1 day a week since I really don't know what I'd be getting into.

Anyone have thoughts or suggestions?
