You can always pay out of pocket, but like payne said, if you are over 18, hippa and confidentiality kicks in. You can always call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask them the specifics of their confidentiality practices. A bill may come in your name, but if you're under 18, it will come addressed to you and your parents. They generally only say "office visit" and the name and credentials of the provider. Sometimes they will say "therapy" if it's for a therapist. Your insurace company would be the best vet to answer that tho.
