Same. I would just stare at the sand the whole time. My T has a small clock across the room facing the patient and then a matching one on the opposite side facing him. I used to look at that clock repeatedly during session and see the minutes ticking down and become more and more morose because I wasn't accomplishing anything and only so much time remained. It took me over a year to stop glancing at the clock over and over and pretend it wasn't there.
