I experienced a new feeling today. I became very confused about what was going on around me and what to do at the moment.
This morning, during church, I was helping with serving communion, a job I do at least once a month. Before serving the congregation, the helpers and music team are served, standing in a line, getting the bread first and then waiting for the juice to dip it in after everyone has been served the bread. I got my bread first, and all of the suddent I didn't know what to do next. I watched the lady standing next to me and she was just standing there waiting, but I still went ahead and put my bread to my mouth to eat it. Fortunately I stopped myself before actually getting it all in, and I told the lady next to me not to worry, I wouldn't really dip! Then, after that, we move down to the front of the congregation to wait for the line of people to go through. I went the wrong direction, and my helper lady had to call me over to straighten me out. I managed to get through the rest without doing anything foolish, but when my husband came through, I realized that I had no emotion or care that I knew him. Strange, huh?
The rest of the afternoon I have had a dull headache, feel depressed, and have taken a nap.
Because it's my brain acting funny, I wonder if my psych meds are causing this; however, I also take blood pressure and cholesterol meds. I haven't changed psych meds for a while. I did change the blood pressure medicine about a month ago, and called the doc. because of being extremely sleepy, and she said to cut it in half. I looked up other side effects for this med, but I didn't find confusion listed as one.
Has anyone else experienced confusion wth the bp? I don't know if I should bother calling the doc, and if I do, I don't know which one to call!
