Hmmm Are you in therapy to help you work through the anxiety?
Grounding techniques (posted as a permanent post at the top of a forum,,,not sure if it's this one or Psychotherapy) such as BREATHING and MINDFULNESS, looking about where you are and realizing you are in control, all help. TC.

I'm in marriage counseling, but not therapy, plus I see my psychiatrist. Probably should be in therapy again, but I tried to make an appointment, but since i'm seeing a counselor for marriage, I can't see a different one for something else...Weird? Plus, he's the only one out of literally a dozen or more that i've met that cut through the bull immediately, and call me out on my issues. Wish I could quit the marriage counseling and just have him do the regular therapy.
I'll check out the grounding techniques, thanks. Anything that even faintly smells of "tricking my brain" just never seems to work. That's defeatist though, and i've got to just keep trying.
Thanks for your reply!
