Hi

I'm naturally introverted, always have been. I know that doesn't necessarily equate with shyness or low self esteem but unfortunately I have all of them. I was abused and neglected in childhood and I'm sure this is partly why I feel so shy around people. I get my energy from my internal world and have lived inside my head making up stories all my life.

What I'm wondering is whether other introverted people (with or without shyness) have speech difficulties? By that I mean difficulties finding the right word, often forgetting obvious words, and getting them out right. I even struggle to form sentences. I think a lot but when it comes to talking it comes out all wrong.

I'd love to know if anyone else struggles with this. I'm not sure if it's a typical scenerio for an introvert or if it's down to something else.
