I understand how hard long distance is, and for me it only works if I have the dream of being together someday permantly. Long distance for life is a different story.

My fiancée is a commercial diver and he is away for about three months at a time and then I'll see him maybe for a week or two again.

Love is a choice we make... come hell or high water. Once you make the choice, stick with it. I have wondered many times if I wouldn't be happier with someone closer, but I have decided that he is my everything and I want to be with him no matter what.
