I just wanted to say, I understand how you feel. My issue isn't with marriage, though, it's with school. I'm also turning 26 this year, and do not have a degree of any sort. And not for lack of trying either. I've been in school since I was 18, but my depression and anxiety just keep holding me back. But I keep trying...

I know it's not exactly the same situation, but I get so upset and frustrated when I see how great everyone is doing -- "Real" jobs, second degrees, being financially independent of everyone, contributing to the world. And then there's me, and I hate to tell my college friends "Yeah... I still don't have a degree yet..." I've spent many nights in tears over this.

What has helped me the most is don't go on facebook. Just don't do it. Avoid it like the plague. And just focus on you. You have to do what is right for you, focus on getting yourself to where you want to be with your life and with yourself, and things will eventually fall into place. I truly believe you will have your chance at love. And I think all those things are true about you, even if the people around you haven't figured it out yet. That's their issue, not yours, even though it still hurts.

Thanks for this!
