Good intentions are nice and all, but for self defense, giving the wrong advice here could lead to something a lot worse than awwwww. Gaijin pointed out obvious flaws with the strike.

At the end of the day, if someone has any real interest in learning self defense, it's not going to come from the PC forums or online. It's something you need to do in person, at which point you'll learn the seriousness of combat and understand that good intentions, good ideas...none of that counts for squat.
