Fact of the matter is, people with experience are disagreeing with the OP's approach towards the subject, for reasons beyond ego. Frankly, it's practical, and in a topic such as self defense, that's rather important.

This goes beyond men, women, whatever. People all around get jumped, for a variety of reasons. You jumped in making accusations, when people were trying to offer their experience on the matter, just because people were disagreeing.

Frankly, I'm sick of political correctness and "being nice" covering truth, practicality, and different opinions and ideas.
