dubblemonkey, I don't understand your anger and personal attacks.
The OP offered a theory of self-defense. Why can't this theory be examined and tested? Graduate students must defend their theses, and people who write academic or scientific papers must do the same. What's at stake here is more important that degrees or credentials.
Why can't I ask questions and express reservations about the method advanced here, without being condemned for generic male violence against women? I've never used any sort of physical violence against women. Why do I deserve to be the target of your rants?
The OP's technique seems to have some merit, but I do have doubts that it can be used in many violent attacks in the real world. Perhaps he can answer my reservations and defend his thesis. But all you're doing is distract from the issue at hand.
