Why not send her a message and tell her that you've suffered from depression for a long time too, and you know what it's like. You can word things differently so you don't come on too strongly, but just let her know that you CAN be there for her, if she so desires. You'd like to be her friend -- and you can tell her that you're lonely too (if that's the case). Just mention things that you know about HER that you've experienced too. That might make her feel more comfortable.
