I am allergic to many of the medicines that help most ppl, so my symptoms don't improve on the meds (and may become worse.) Sometimes there is "rebound" effects from the medicine itself. Have you been tested for the medicines as allergy?

I have bronchitis right now, due to aspirating sinus drainage from allergies. The med I need to take makes me sick but in a different way. The cortisone meds I can't take for a while, as they weaken my blood vessels and I've been having trouble with them bursting in my eye.

Ok, I didn't post that to steal your thread, but to let you know I DO know how horrible you feel.

I hope you can figure it out soon. Are you TOTALLY resting in bed to give your body a chance to fight this? Drink plenty of water to flush the toxins out. Do you have a breathing machine at home?
