My advice:
It's sorta delusional to expect something, pharma made or grown on plains of Tibet will make you the person you always wanted to be. Braver, more serene, not *****ing at people at work... that's up to you. All substances can do is influence how you feel. How you deal with the rest... it's up to you.

Eat well. You don't have to be uberstrict with yourself, imho... but... don't feed on horrible foods either. Eating well is habit actually... once you get to like suble flavours of good food, processed food laden with chemicals will lose the appeal.

Get your spiritual life right. I am not saying to go church, mosque, temple or synagogue... but find your place in world. Resolve your conflicted stances on life and afterlife and find peace with it.

Channel your energies into something. Don't supress your emotions... find a way to get them out safely.

Learn to expand your comfort zone. It can be done.
what is spiritual? Is it believing in a higher power? I've always been confused about this cuz I mix spiritual with religion. I have the opinion that instead of a god I decided to give the credit and beliefs to myself instead. but I dont' understand what being purely spiritual is. Can you explain a little, if your comfortable with it?
