I'd imagine that would be possible if she had decent insurance. Unfortunately, she is only on Medicare - which won't even cover at-home IV antibiotic treatments. So, I'll have to take her to the ID doctor every day for several weeks for that, which will cost $25 per dosage (daily, adds up quick).
I'm sure things won't be too bad once she gets home. She is able to walk on her own, so really I just need to take care of the drain, take her to get the treatments, cook/clean/laundry....ugh, let me stop thinking about it. LOL
