My cat really is the best listener. He should work as a therapist. He sits there while I tell him everything and just blinks now and again and then snuggles upto me and sleeps. Probably because I have bored him to sleep telling him about spies and why the airport changed the flight paths.

I got him a camera , its only small and goes on his collar. It takes pictures and video and I can then see where he has been. He does loads of scouting and surveillance for me this way.
