I'm still stuck with my craptastic P doc. I am looking for a new one but the one I want to see needs a referral from my family doctor. Someone dropped the ball and the referral has not been made. I'm calling them after lunch.

In the meantime, I saw my pdoc 3-4 weeks ago. He put me on a new med, then the pharmacist told me not to take the med so I called pdoc and left a message. He NEVER called me back so I never started the new med. When I was there I told him my Lexapro needed to be refilled, he said, no problem just have the pharmacy call us and we'll okay. Guess what? The pharmacy has been calling him since Friday and the doctor's office finally called back yesterday and DENIED my refill and told the pharmacy I need to call them. I called today and left a message telling them to PLEASE CALL ME BACK. I called them 2 months ago in a terrible mixed up state and they never returned that call so I don't think they are going to return today's call either.

I take Lexapro to control my anxiety and panic attacks. I took my last pill Sunday. When I call my family doc about the referral to a new pdoc I'm going to ask her if she will call me in some Lexapro. I"m so pi$$ed right now.

You would think a psychiatrist would take someone's mental health into consideration and at the very least return a freaking phone call. If it weren't for the fact that he is 85 miles away I would go to his office and get my refill.
