Yoga and meditation can reduce need for sleep (not just the feel... but actually... need for sleep... because you regenerate by yogaing). Just throwing in some advice to this aspect.

and as for loneliness? I learned to love myself... because I am the best and only person who can truly love me. Sounds horrible... but not really. Is life.
