
Well, it does seem like, as you acknowledged, that you have some issues that might be negatively affecting your life. I know you said you are a bit hesitant about therapy, but I agree that you might try some sessions. No need to fear. Gee, I've seen many therapists over the years and haven't been bitten yet. These folks genuinely care about people and want to help. If the match just doesn't seem to mesh after a few sessions, then you can move on to someone else. (But try to hang in and give it a really good try.)
I think you will find that life will get better as you work through some things. (Yes, therapy is work.)
