Thank you everyone. I know I needed help and am only on day 10 of fluoxatine, so they haven't kicked in yet. I gather it takes 6-8 weeks to help. The weight gain is a huge issue for me and my self esteem. Naturally being petite and slim, I've gained weight through sheer inactivity over the last year, being in bed, literally every day.
Fitting into my clothes is now a struggle, and any further gain would be hugely demoralising. It's not vanity, it's just what feels right for me. I don't want to lose my libido either. I like feeling sexy !
Thank you for your replies. It's too soon for me to tell about either issue. I really hope this tablet helps me, and doesn't rob me of my libido or make me gain weight.
