I'm in love with a man my age. Only my mother and father would rather I live with them to take care of my elderly mother( she has renal failure). Not many of my family members want me to have a relationship with him.

My goal is to move him from California to Hawaii with our dog, but if he's not going to be welcomed I'd rather choose a life back in Calif. Right now, we're missing each other terribly, but I don't know how to gently tell my parents how much I need him.

Any suggestions welcome...
