Yesterday was a fantastic day... not because of Valentine's, just because. Been working out and feeling good, hopeful and then...

Mom texts me last night (cause calling would be too much, I guess) to tell me that my grandmother, who raised me, was going in for emergency surgery in her stomach?? She explained it, but I still don't get it.... That she's been weak, in nursing home for months, can't walk, talk and that the people at the nursing home hadn't noticed she was non-responsive... she almost died last night before surgery, basically. She was out of surgery last night and put on a respirator this morning?? or last night?? while recovering. Now, they want to disconnect her (not my mom, the hospital) since her pressure's not coming back up.

Lots of mixed emotions, ranging from sadness to anger to anxious... worried. But, really mad!!
