Personally for me when this whole actual diagnosis of Bipolar hit, I was a walking or stumbling fool, loads of meds , just loads.. This went on for 4 or 5 months I think. I woke up one day pissed off and saw my Pdoc and told him its time to start dropping these meds.. I dropped off all of them with in a day or 2 ( I was lucky I had no problems going cold turkey) I only take Lamictal and Lithium now, But ... I have learn so many non medication ways of helping myself feel better more stable etc.

Anyway that's my journey.. everyone has there own. I am not saying anyone should stop there medications on there own . Consult your Pdoc about any changes .
