Okay, so, I am already planning on seeing a doctor for this, but I just want to hear the possibilities of what this could be.
For about two years now, I start falling asleep at random times. Usually it's in the morning or sometimes in the afternoon. I just get really tired out of nowhere and can barely keep my eyes open. This happens even when I get 8 - 10 hours of sleep, which I usually get every night.
The falling asleep usually happens when I'm not doing anything really, but it has happened back when I was in gym class, playing sports and it also happened last night at work, while I was actively doing something. It also happens while I'm driving.
Some say it sounds like narcolepsy, but it seems to have a slight pattern. Well, not a pattern per say, just... It usually happens around the same time, or at random times. I don't always fall asleep, though.
I don't think it's sleep apnea either, because no one hears me snoring or anything.
I just don't think it's normal to be as tired as I am all the time, even after getting a full night's sleep.
I'm not asking for a diagnosis, just possibilities as to what's going on? As I said, I am going to see a doctor.
Thanks!
