Aeon DM ...
Meditation is a big one.
Yoga.
Breathing exercises
Exercise
Getting outside in the sun daily if possible (damn gloomy grey winter)
Grounding
Mindfulness
I don't over analyze every mood or moment ever!
I don't over think Bipolar.
I see no need to tell people about my Bipolar. I have friends here on PC to talk to who will really understand. ( so that is less stress for me)
Hypnotherapy for my chronic pain.
Drink plenty of water, lots.
Try to eat healthy, I do avoid carbs and anything that is processed or has any type of artificial Sweetners or coloring.( yeah its tough but it makes a huge difference for me.. Bipolar and pain wise)
Do something kind or helpful every single day... Even if I'm in a mess mentally myself I force myself on here and try to help someone out.. If I am trying to help them.. then I am not focused on me, win/win.
All these things I have learned HERE and with my T.
It takes ALOT of work to actively use them in day to day life, They are not foolproof, But I have not been inpatient in almost 2 years, and that is worth all the work I have put into this, It is paving my way to becoming med free.
