Hi Piraeus. My guess is your relationship was extremely stressful when you were together. For whatever reason (selfish for sure) she chose you to be mean to. I don't know about your situation when you were married. All I know is my husband used the excuse that I was to blame for his being mean. And I mean MEAN. But a person can only change themselves. He chose not to and I am left in the aftermath wondering what I did to deserve it. Nothing. I am just guessing your wife decided to move on and is kinder because she is happy outside of your relationship with you.
