Im 17. Usually I do slashes but sometimes I cut words.... I cut BAD and STUPID on my leg, and FAT BIT CH on my stomach. I was really worried about the words so I just slash over them. It takes time but eventually if you scar over it enough it is gone. I stopped cutting words after than one night when I cut all those in. I never wear clothes where my scars show.. I know this isnt really helpful. Im sorry.
