Eating what you would normally eat or what you think you should eat and then waiting 20 minutes afterwards might help. Apparently it takes 20 minutes for our brains to say "oh, yup, we're full." This is why it's so common that people eat so much food so fast, feel fine, and then 5-10 minutes later they're uncomfortably full. lol
