Like Bipolar Mom said, distract yourself. Go for a walk, listen to your favorite music, watch a good movie, etc. I found just getting out of the house in the fresh air helps a lot.
Or, if possible, have a friend/family member come over. Give them your meds and shoot the breeze with them to get your mind off things.
Keep in mind our brains can only concentrate on one thing at a time. So by keeping yourself busy with any type of enjoyable activity, you won't be focusing on how you feel.
If all else fails, go to the ER or call 911.
You can pull through this! I know it's tough, I've been there myself, but you CAN get through this. Keep posting here and keep us updated on how you're feeling.
