((Jay Jay)),

It sounds like you are struggling with some ups and downs of PTSD. You may have been triggered and are now experiencing these flashbacks, I have been through that myself, I had to take Klonopin at night so I could sleep without the flashbacks, some people take other things to help them until they have the time to process these flashbacks in therapy.

Just know that as you work through these flashbacks, know they are in the past and not now, and some of the people that may have lost lives are now in "no pain" and are at rest now. I am sorry that you have seen some terrible things that are hard to forget or find a way to put at rest in your mind right away. However you can slowly take the "shock" and power out of flashbacks so that they just become memories that no longer have the emotional charge to them. I hope you are still working on this in "therapy" Jay Jay, you will learn to overcome this with time.
