My therapist suggested that I go in my room, shut the door, maybe turn up the music or the TV, and then SCREAM AS LOUD as I can, into my pillow -- and when I'm done screaming, start pounding the pillow HARD, and think of a person that I'm the maddest at while I'm pounding the pillow -- and I can scream then too!
When I was done doing all that, I was exhausted, but I sure FELT better! I'd gotten some angry emotions out -- somewhat, anyway. It released a lot of pent-up tension, and I really did feel better. It's worth a try. Just thought I'd mention it. Take care! Hugs, Lee
