The guy who founded Whole Food (expensive snob organic co-op) thinks families can get by on $5-$6 a day per person to feed their families. I wish I could spend $5 a day on food! 5X30 days $150 X 4 people $600. The price of lettuce in his store is over $7 a head(for the cheap stuff--I did like to go in there and drool occasionally) I don't think anyone could shop at his store for that amount, so was he telling us to shop at the competition?
