I did DBT a while back and that really helped. Helped me make sense of stuff...
Then I got to reading about attachment and mentalization. There is a new variety of psychodynamic therapy that is doing well with BPD.
I guess clinicians need to be newly inspired every now and then...
They reckon that the 'mentalization' stuff was what worked in DBT so...
Reading about attachment, disorganised attachment, projective identification, counter-identification (i think it is called) and introjects. Stuff like that...
