I've been diagnosed with GAD, SAD, as well as moderate panic disorder.

I'm taking Xanax, up to 6mg a day.

Yesterday, out of nowhere, in a comfortable spot (work), I got this unbelievable chill, teeth chattering freezing although it was over 80 degrees. In addition, every single muscle in my body ached and I thought I was going to pass out. Took Xanax, didn't do a thing.

Got home, had a 104 temperature...Finally got warmed up, but felt like i'd been run over by a truck, but my temperature was normal. Middle of the night last night, same thing.

What the heck could this be?

I've just told my wife a few days ago we're getting a divorce, so there is a huge amount of stress.

I'm thinking it's some sort of stress induced anxiety attack, but I would think the Xanax (and Zoloft) would help that. At this point i'm a bit freaked because part of the Xanax is placebo. I know I have it, I know it works, so i'm calmer. Now, I brought 3 sweatshirts to work, and just trying to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Anyone experience this? Or know what it sounds like? Don't feel sick or anything either.

Thanks!

We tried to make it work, but we just have different views on the world, different goals, and plus, between you and me, reality is crazy and refuses to take it's meds.
