I just got a fecking letter that said now a family of 2 ( regardless of family size) must meet poverty guidelines for loan to be discharged. I was told my grad loan of $30k was forgiven as long as I'm on Ssdi but not anymore.

I don't know if this is an Obama change or what. Has anyone else received this news?? I'm completely screwed now as the monthly payments are @ $225 for the rest of my life. And Medicare has been cut so plan D for scripts has gone up!
