I think the point is that PC is supposed to be supportive and non-judgmental.

Everyone understands that you have an opinion about the overweight, but it is probably better aired in a forum for nurses or medical personnel.

This is a psych forum. Many people are already struggling with issues stemming from abusive behavior. Those who are overweight are not stupid. Being big does not affect your IQ. We know what challenges our weight poses for everyone. We don't need to be constantly reminded.
