I too shop till I'm in a pit, I mainly spend every dime I get my hands on on toys and clothes for my kids, then some clothes for myself, but especially for my kids. I've worked hard and have changed alot over the years with money. I still do make mistakes, but I've gotten so much better. What helps me is not having the cash at easy access....I got rid of my check book, debit and credit cards, then I put all my cash in the bank (which I made sure wasn't right down the road), and deposited all of it. Then when I need the money I have to go to the bank during open hours and withdrawal for cash. It was a good way for me to keep my hands out of the piggy bank. It's hard not spending even when you know what is more important, I hope you can get this under control so you will not lose anything to dear to you.
