The other day, my ex
finally, after 2 months of not seeing them, came and saw the boys for an hour (yeah only an hour... her life is so important absent of them she had to get right back to it o.O ) anyway it was to tell them about their grandma's passing. But that's another subject. She had gotten money for each of the boys from their brother and had asked me to put it on their steam accounts (steam is a gaming platform/delivery system online). Well after she left, I gave each their portion of the money.. so they could go buy games they wanted.
About 15 min later my 12 yr old (the aspie one) comes over and was, very excited. "Dad, dad, check out your steam account! I sent you something" Usually he sends me silly links to youtube videos or pictures he put on his DA account. Anyway so I logged in and found a gift. He had gone out of his way to buy me a game he knew I wanted. O.O out of his meager $50 he got, he thought to spend some on his dad for no apparent reason but to be generous. I hugged him and said that was very nice of him. I also made sure to emphasize that it was for him, and not to spend anymore of his money on me

lol.
He's like me, apparently in that manner. I guess I must be doing something right.
Anyway... I'm a proud father. I had to share this because I think my boys are great.. and it's something positive in my life, that is, to have them. I also feel that giving to people and thinking of them is so much more important than getting what you can out of them. I'm glad my boys think the same way.
