I hear you. Mine has always been irregular and unpredictable. Then I start getting PMS and I i become really tense, anxious, crabby, and a pain to be with. I try my best to keep it under my hat so to speak, but sometimes things just come out of my mouth before I realize it.
Sometimes hormone treatments can help. They helped me somewhat but did not entirely solve the problem. Many women are just different. I am going to be 41 tomorrow and haven't noticed anything that resembles pre-menopause.
It sounds to me like you really need to see a gynocologist. None of us are competent to offer medical advice, and like nutrition there are zillions of myths and untested hypotheses around that have little basis in science
