Medications do not always work and certainly can sometimes cause a lot more issues than they are worth. I have yet to have a 'good' experiance with an anti-depressant not really willing to try anymore though. Then I also tried klonopin for anxiety and that was a disaster that landed me in the psych ward.

lol I might have stopped the klonopin before things got that bad if someone would have told me 'hey you've been acting really weird since you started taking that.' but none of them wanted me to get mad is the consensus from my understanding. My friend may have tried to tell me but by that point there was no reasoning with me.

That said I don't think I have the most common reactions to psych meds so its very likely none of that would happen to you or even most people...but there is that risk. Remember meds are drugs and all drugs I don't care what it is have potential negative side effects. Anyways if you are taking meds and you feel they are making you worse or not working I'd talk to the doctor....and maybe seek a new one if the response is to just keep suffering negative effects in case it might 'work' eventually. I mean I am sure if I had stayed on wellbutrin when I was prescribed it until the recommended 3 and a half weeks were up I would have been in the psych ward for some weird wellbutrin induced state of psychosis...luckily the psychiatrist promptly told me to quit taking it not just wait through the terrible side effects.
Thanks for this!
