each location has their own resources and definitions/laws about abuse regardless of which kind..you can find out what is abuse in your area by contacting your areas social services office or police department and ..
if you are here in the United States of America you can contact the domestic violence program. they will be able to tell you where your nearest domestic violence agency and phone number is. once you have that information. you can contact your area's domestic violence office.. they will be able to tell you what is any kind of abuse in your area and can help you get out of any abusive situation if you decide thats what you want to do. they can help you with support groups, emergency housing/shelters, in rare cases financial help if you make a report with the crime victims board and they can also help you prosecute your abusers..
