You said you tried a bit on online match-matchmaking. How about those 10-min date marathons--you get an impression of someone? With Intel and all the research labs and universities in Tempe/Phoenix, they've gotta be lots of gal techie-types.
I've spent a lot of time in that area. Met lots of women who weren't looking for typical men. But they were looking.
